Sotheby’s Wine London is proud to present our first auction of the 2025 summer sale season, Finest & Rarest Wines | London Edition, open for online bidding from 16 May and culminating in an online-only auction on 30 May from 10:00 AM BST.
This tightly curated auction features important collections from across the United Kingdom, Bordeaux, and Scandinavia, spanning a range of classical regions, legendary vintages and formats from bottles to nebuchadnezzars, all with impeccable provenance and carefully cellared under first-rate storage conditions.
The sale opens with The Property of a Noted Champagne Connoisseur, featuring case quantities of DP Oenothèque 1996, Comtes de Champagne 2004 and further exceptional offerings from Ruinart, Philipponnat, and Bollinger.
A stunning vertical flight of Chateau Rayas follows, spanning vintages from 1986 to 2011, and a case each of Petrus 2011-2014 and Le Pin 2007, The Property of a Dedicated Collector.
The third major collection Outstanding Bordeaux, Burgundy and Rhône, supplies a case of the legendary Latour 1982, and Rousseau’s Clos St Jacques and Chambertin, Clos de Bèze 2002, professionally stored since purchase.
